Leon Shore (KFIII)

Protector of Austin Lyle Forester and forger of both the Dark Slayer and the Excellector.

General Information:

After Alexander sealed the castle and then the Kingdom of Verdite, it was Leon Shore that helped to fake Austin Lyle's death and shelter the young lad from the baleful gaze of John Alfred. As a master magical weapon-smith, he sets Austin Lyle on his first quest while also giving the young Prince the crystal sword The Excellector. The Excellector grows with the Prince, but is part of a grander scheme by Leon Shore. One that results in the High-Elf giving his life to create.

From the writings of Alexander¹:

"Of Course you know Leon. He has been your caretaker and protector since you were rescued from the castle before I sealed it. He is a High Elf whom I met on Melanat Island. Leon returned here to take the ashes of his late mother to the Ruins of the High Elf Shrine. I tried to get him to come to my father's castle in Granatyki, but he had already committed himself to resuming his crystal crafting practice in the home town of his mother. He had started working on the sword which he called the Excellector… it was designed for you."

Quests:

The Four Archmages:

Lyle is told to find the Four Archmages and claim their elemental power. The Four Archmages are located throughout the Field and only with their elemental power and soul, is Lyle Forester able to claim the Moonlight Sword.

The Excellector:

Leon Shore gives the Sword Excellector to Lyle Forester at the start of the game, asking him to grow and thus grow the sword's power with it. This is important for the next quest.

The Seals of Ichrius:

The High Elf asks Lyle Forester to find the Seals of Ichrius and bring them back to him.

Description:

An older man now since his time at Melanat with his Grandmother. He wears greens and golds, and spots a burgundy hat. His pointed ears mark him as one of the last of the High-Elves in existence.

Location:

Leon Shore resides in the village of Quist. His house is the only one with potted lilies at the side of the house. (( More Precise Map Location Needed )).
